BOILER PRESSURE PARTS
In a boiler where water is converted in to the steam, which pressure is greater than atmospheric pressure termed as boiler pressure parts.
Example of boiler pressure parts are
- Economiser
- Boiler drum
- Water walls
- Division panel
- Superheaters ( LTSH, platen & final)
- Reheater
- Attemperators
All of these are working above atmospheric pressure & temperature.
